2022 Tucson N Line and Plug-in Hybrid Models Are Coming Soon!
Just last month, Hyundai Motor America announced the addition of N Line and Plug-in Hybrid models to its already impressive 2022 Tucson lineup. Stemming from a series of design concepts expressing its evolving Sensuous Sportiness global design identity, the all-new Hyundai Tucson N Line USA and Plug-In Hybrid will be available this spring and summer.
2022 Tucson N Line
The all-new Tucson N Line will feature a more aggressive exterior and interior appearance. This new look combines dynamic design elements with motorsport-inspired details. The Tucson N Line will have a host of exclusive features in addition to the SEL and Convenience packages. The exclusive exterior features include:
- N Line front and rear bumper fascia
- N Line grille
- Black headlamp bezels
- Fender N line badging
- Unique 19-inch black alloy wheel design
- Black side mirrors and window surrounds
- Dual-tipped exhaust
- N Line rear spoiler
Exclusive interior features include:
- N Line logos on steering wheel, shifter and seats
- Leather and fabric seating surfaces
- Red accents on seats and door trim
- Black headliner
- Metal pedals and door sill plates
- Bose premium audio system
The all-new Tucson N Line color options are Ash Black, White Pearl, Titan Gray, and Red Crimson (N Line exclusive color). All N Line Tucsons will feature N-branded black leather sport seats with cloth inserts, and red stitching on the door trim and armrest. Additionally, they will feature N logos that accent the shifter console surround, metal pedals, footrest and doorsills. Plug-In Hybrid Tucson
Balancing the combination of fun-to-drive performance and excellent fuel economy, the Tucson’s plug-in Hybrid features:
- An estimated 261 horsepower
- 1.6-liter turbocharged
- Direct-injected hybrid powertrain coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission
Larger than a regular hybrid battery, the Tucson’s plug-in Hybrid battery has 13.8 kWh of power and yields an estimated all-electric range (AER) of 32 miles and estimated fuel economy of 70 MPG.
Charging the Hybrid is a breeze with a Level-II charging capability of under two hours to recharge the system using a 7.2kW on-board charger. The Plug-in Hybrid also offers an impressive tow rating of 2,000 lbs.
Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance and America’s Best Warranty
Hyundai also announced that Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance will add to the Hyundai Assurance program. This program promises to create a better experience for shoppers and owners of Hyundai vehicles. Now including complimentary maintenance, Hyundai Assurance achieves its goal through Owner Assurance and Shopper Assurance, which combine to offer customers a variety of ways to simplify the buying process and improve the owning and service experience.
